Overview
This series was created to introduce internal employees to Cloudflare's products in a simple bite sized overview that covered the functional basics, as well as how a customer would interact with the product.
Challenge
This lesson series had limited interactivity without the use of Storyline or other interactive modules, so the question became "how do we differentiate almost 60 products from each other that all have light similarities?"
Solution
Most of our learners were sales and customer support, and their jobs are often specialized enough that product knowledge is required more for some rather than others. Coursework is divided into primary products and developer platform products, giving the learner a path that feels consistent to their personal needs. The learners can take these courses in any order they want, skipping products they are familiar with or don't need education on.
Each lesson takes between 5–10 minutes to complete, with heavy use of visuals, video, and hyper-specific product focus. We don't want to overwhelm a learner who may be getting up to speed on double digit products, so the goal was to be an advanced version of our public facing product landing pages, with more interactivity and knowledge checks.
